Release of Liability and Contest Contract

Terms and Conditions

1. I am at least eighteen years of age. I warrant that I am the sole owner and
author of said material, that I have the exclusive rights and authority to
submit the same to you upon the terms and conditions stated here. I
indemnify you and your judges of and from any and all claims, loss or liability
(including reasonable attorney's fees) that may be asserted against you at any
time in connection with said material. If said material is based on a real person
or a previously published or produced work, I warrant that I have authorized
rights to market the property. I also understand that it is my responsibility to
protect my work through the WGA registry service or by copyrighting it.

I shall retain all right to submit this or similar material to persons other than you.

Screenplays must not have been optioned or sold to a production company.

2. I understand that ScriptDoctor does not purchase literary properties as a
general rule, and that if it were to do so, it would purchase said material in
conjunction with a separate production entity or through other channels.
I recognize that you and your clients have access to and/or may create or have
created literary materials and ideas, which may be similar, or identical to said
material in theme, idea, plot, format or other respects. I agree that I will not be
entitled to any compensation because of the use by you or any of your clients
of any such similar material, which may have been independently created by
you or any such client or may have come to you from any other independent
source. WGA registry is the best protection for you and your literary property,
and ScriptDoctor promises to make every effort to guarantee the
confidentiality of your work.

3. I shall retain all right to submit this or similar material to persons other than you.

4. I hereby state that I have read and understand this agreement and that no oral
representations of any kind have been made to me, and that this agreement states
our entire understanding with reference to the subject matter hereof.
Any modification of waiver of any of the provisions of this agreement must be in
writing and signed by both of us.

5. It is my responsibility to provide the script in an acceptable format and the postage
and handling for submission. ScriptDoctor will inform me of the acceptance of my
screenplay (whether as an e-mail attachment or a postal delivery).

call you if your script differs from standard format).

(Rich Text File, Final Draft or a PDF file).

send an extra $25 for copying and mailing charges.
